Someone should really do a disambiguation page and add an entry (stub or full article) for the neurologist with the same name (John Alexander Simpson), known for research on myasthenia gravis ( /info/en/?search=Myasthenia_gravis#History). Passed away on May 10, 2009. See https://www.heraldscotland.com/news/12394072.john-alexander-simpson/ . Not sure why there is an entry for the test he invented ( /info/en/?search=Simpson_test) but not one on him, himself.
