At the time of John Quitman's death, there indeed were some who believed his death resulted from deliberately poisoning. I noticed that my edit concerning this was unceremoniously deleted (perhaps by members of the vast Masonic conspiracy to cover up the circumstances of his death?). Joking aside, I am working on finding sources that indicating the controversy over his death. I believe it adds an interesting dimension to Quitman and should be included in his biography.
I've been working on editing Monmouth Plantation recently, and I've noticed that there's a lot of information in this PDF about Quitman.. I didn't really check to see if the information was in this article, but the pdf isn't listed as a source, so I thought I'd let anyone who was watching this page know about it. I would like to know if his father was lutheran Rev. Frederick H.Quitman. Can you help me about that? Thanks.-- Diebu ( talk) 07:36, 4 September 2021 (UTC)
