Lamont's star near the nucleus of Messier 31 (the Andromeda galaxy)

Is Johann von Lamont the same "Lamont" of Lamont's star near the nucleus of Messier 31? This star (Lamont's star) is briefly mentioned in the SKY CATALOGUE 2000.0, Volume 2: Double Stars, Variable Stars and Nonstellar Objects (1985) and also in the DEEP-SKY NAME INDEX 2000.0 by Hugh C. Maddocks (1991). Those who still have the SKY & TELESCOPE of February 1968 should take a look at page 97 because it has a description of Lamont's star and its location near the centre of the Andromeda galaxy. Unfortunately I don't have SKY & TELESCOPES of the sixties (only those of the nineties). DannyCaes ( talk) 08:50, 12 April 2021 (UTC) reply
