I decided to change the date to 1991 (following the Sega-16 interview with developer Michael Knox) instead of 1990 (following Kent), as the timeline in Kent doesn't make sense: Katz was hired in October 1989 according to Kent, which doesn't leave time for him to get the Montana contract, arrange with Mediagenic, wait 4 months before finding out they lied, and then line up EA in time for Christmas.
