There may be some useful facts in the list of accomplishments I just deleted. If they can be sourced and put in NPOV language, please add them back in! JJL 19:06, 10 January 2007 (UTC)
I personally think that this article is a stub. It's a biography, and is only a couple paragraphs long. I couldn't really find a category for the stub, however. If anyone can, feel free to do so. -- Umalee 02:20, 2 February 2007 (UTC)
Some idiot changed some key stuff but it won't let me 'undo' the changes. Maybe someone better versed in this stuff could fix it? 71.233.241.251 ( talk) 19:38, 23 November 2009 (UTC)

If he made a movie in 2017 and died in 2012, how is this explained? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 49.229.103.29 ( talk) 02:35, 12 March 2019 (UTC)
The coverage on the Internet regarding Joe Lewis’ service in Vietnam appears unclear or incorrect in some cases. Some references say he was in Vietnam in 1963 and some say he deployed with the 8th Marine Brigade in 1965. It is possible he deployed with the 9th Marine Expeditionary Brigade in 1965, which was one of the the first Marine Corps unit in Vietnam. Joe Lewis mentions his time serving in the Marines in Okinawa during an interview, but does not mention Vietnam. This article could benefit from accurate information with a reliable reference regarding his service in the Vietnam War. Semper Fi! FieldMarine ( talk) 13:35, 27 July 2019 (UTC)
