The "Novel and the book case" is silly. I will at this point delete it, having replaced it with an actual reproduction of the oldest Wanli edition. -- Iwanafish 05:58, 14 October 2007 (UTC)
Question. Why is it clear that Lanling Xiaoxiao Sheng is a pseudonym? I am a layman as far as Chinese Literature goes, with only a familiarity of the Three Kingdoms, but I think it might be helpful for those of us who are but layman to have some explanation as to why it is clear that this is a pseudonym. thank you. Well because it doesn't conform to the Chinese Naming Convention, as well as it means something like "The Laugh-laugh Scholar of Lanling". 129.199.156.21 ( talk) 11:36, 28 January 2009 (UTC)
What about some films based on this novel? 118.71.170.226 ( talk) 00:37, 16 September 2008 (UTC)
Within Chinese societies, this novel is often considered to be pornographic in nature, or at least sexual. Do you think we should describe this book as pornographic? Kiteinthewind Leave a message! 02:26, 1 June 2010 (UTC)
