The result of the move request was: page moved per discussion. The first objection, that people might be looking for JIMO, is taken care of by a hatnote. The second objection, that the article needs to be better developed, isn't really an argument against a move. All editors are encouraged to develop this article as befits a city of its importance. - GTBacchus( talk) 08:26, 21 July 2011 (UTC)

Jimo refer to abbreviations, which should be spelt JIMO or less commonly, J.I.M.O. This topic is the only true "Jimo". 2) A city of 1 million something and the

county or
county-level city in the PRC (with 1400+ counties alone) is obviously the most important existing entity on that page. —HXL's

Great! Now the importance of Jimo is established solely by the fact that it is worth a clear WP article name rather than a name with modifiers and a listing on a disambiguation page. The article itself mentions nothing about population, economy, politics, little about history etc. A user without further knowledge of Jimo might wonder why this apparently dull place is more important than JIMO, the NASA mission. I've set the importance to "high" on the WikiProject China banner at the top of this talk page. That will sort it into a category that's prioritized for attention, especially since it's also a stub. I also placed a request on the page to get content translated from zh:. I translated a bit that I worked out by bouncing between the Chinese, German and Norwegian Wikipedias, but I didn't want to get to far into it, not knowing any of those languages. - GTBacchus( talk) 03:36, 22 July 2011 (UTC)
