The following is a closed discussion of a

Strong support per nom, and possibly a Speedy uncontroversial move. We don't typically do "
WP:PARTIALDAB / partial primary topics" very often. Thus, "Jim Davis (baseball)" should 100% redirect to the dab page. ...Also, the fact that this the white player is at the "(baseball)" title but the Negro-leagues player is relegated to the "(Negro leagues)" disambiguator, sort-of has the INCREDIBLY UNFORTUNATE accidental side-effect of making it seems like it Wikipedia feels that the white player is the """real""" baseball player — which, while obviously not at all intended, but definitely a horrific consequence. (This could honestly 100% be a Speedy uncontroversial move – it might be wise to move this as soon as possible!)

I've been moving "(baseball)" articles when there is more than one baseball player with that name to more specific dabs per
Wikipedia:Naming conventions (baseball players)#Disambiguation #3 for a week or so now, but will not move this article since there is an open RM. This is uncontroversial and should be moved as proposed post-haste. NB, I moved the Negro league article the other day before I noticed this RM. Rgrds. --
