Wikipedia is not a news website. It is too soon to say that this article will have continuing coverage or any lasting effects. Wikipedia is not a crime database for producing statistics, so we should not be documenting every crime reported in the news. What makes this news event so notable that it warrants having its own article? Why can it not simply be mentioned in another article, like Rape in India?
