Yep, already knocked it off the
list. I'm more concerned about the song's notability -- has it made it onto any music charts or won any awards?

I respectfully point out that this is a very famous children's hymn written in 1868 and has certainly endured longer than many recently composed material for which specific articles can be found on Wikipedia. A Google search returned 7,130 results the significance of which I am not competent to quantify further.

Can you add any other information as to why it's notable, though? Otherwise, I can't see this growing beyond a stub with lyrics. Please see the
notability guidelines for songs.

As far as I'm concerned, I have already addressed your question in my first reply. I have no intention of trying to explain it to someone who lacks the capacity to comprehend something that is abundantly clear and would be to a child. If this is the sort of problem you have with such a simple article, God help the more complex articles that come under your scrutiny.
