"Their courageous example in the face of adversity – and the murder of 48 journalists – is said to be inspirational.[33]" - the underlined is
weasily. Suggest rewording. --

I believe I've fixed these. In both instances, the sentences appeared to me simply extraneous: one an accidental redundancy, the second an expendable mention of Blancornelas's inspirational qualities. If ComputerJA disagrees, though, I'm fine with some form of them going back in.
