The article is eligable for DYK. "That the artist Jerry Weiss is the son of well known cartoonist
Morris Weiss?" Well done to all involved.

I have toned this down, as the editorial opinion, though wonderfully couched, isn't quite in the great wikipedia tradition. Inaccuracies were also introduced. He says he doesn't plan in advance, and also that he likes to work rapidly throughout. "Figurative" was repeated in the same sentence, and I have not seen his landscapes described as abstract.
