Same guy?

Are we talking 'bout this guy: https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jean-Baptiste_Francesqui ? Many things sort of coincide, but there are glaring discrepancies... Could someone take a look at this? Thanks. -- Technopat ( talk) 18:55, 26 August 2013 (UTC) reply

Franceschi-Delonne

According to Charles Oman, Jean Baptiste Marie Franceschi-Delonne led Marshal Soult's cavalry, was captured by Spanish guerillas and died in 1810 while in prison. He was a separate individual from this Jean Baptiste Franceschi who died in 1813 in Danzig. I mistakenly linked the current Franceschi to several of Soult's battles in the Peninsular War. I am about to undo this error. Djmaschek ( talk) 05:48, 27 October 2013 (UTC) reply
