As a side-issue from something else, I was drawn into trying to ascertain whether the
Birmingham International Jazz Festival ("begun in 1984 by Big Bear Records") is the same as the
Birmingham, Sandwell & Westside Jazz Festival (in its 37th year, making it the same age). I could not ascertain this in the 10-15ish minutes I spent googling and reading what I could find. Perhaps someone else closer to the subject could find out and add their findings to this article (and the Birmingham one)?
