A fact from Jason Coday appeared on Wikipedia's Main Page in the Did you know column on 21 January 2008, and was viewed approximately 6,502 times ( disclaimer) ( check views). The text of the entry was as follows: Did you know... that after being convicted of first-degree murder in 2007, Jason Coday headbutted his own attorney in a Juneau, Alaska, court? "he is believed to have illegally taken a gun from Rayco Sales"

As I understand it, this is one of the key contentions in the lawsuit -- whether the gun was licitly or illicitly obtained. The defense claims it was stolen, the plaintiffs assert it was bought and paid for.
