Atlantic Monthly article cites Rule/ call for contributors
An article in the Atlantic Monthly June 2011 on film scholarship pretty much uses Janice Rule as the paradigm of the underappreciated actress. Clive James, a major cultural critic, takes David Thomson to task for ignoring her in his encyclopedia of film. There isn't a lot on Rule in the article, but James was so emphatic that I came here to read Rule's biography, and now can see why he was irate. Wiki exists to rectify flaws in print scholarship, and perhaps we should expand this article, starting with the Atlantic article. Any takers?
