While research Janice Kapp Perry, I found some disputes about when she and her husband were married. One mentions September 24, 1958 while another mentions September 26, 1958. I decided to go with the reference cited, as part of it included a personal interview with her. While the other source does not reference where they got that date from. Feel free to let me know if you find information that supports September 26th as a more correct date. Thanks!

Janice Perry's husband died in July 2018. My grandma died in August 2018. My student did the bulk of the work on this page in November 2018, in conjunction with the BYU library acquiring Janice's manuscripts. Perhaps the passing of Janice's husband, Doug, precipitated her decision to get serious about donating her papers. I don't know precisely when my grandpa started dating Janice, but by 2020, they were constant companions until my grandpa's death last year in 2023. Her relationship with my grandpa did not inspire me to work on her Wikipedia page.
