A fact from Janet Bonnema appeared on Wikipedia's Main Page in the Did you know column on 6 July 2017 ( check views). The text of the entry was as follows: Did you know... that in 1972, Colorado engineering technician Janet Bonnema legally challenged the superstition that a woman who went underground into a tunnel or mine brought bad luck? The main thrust of the "Eisenhower Tunnel" section was the supposed "bad luck" that would happen if a woman entered the tunnel.

Well?

Did anything considered to be "bad luck" ever happen?
