I'm working on expanding this article, noting that it's rated of "high importance" by the Mizzou group. I'm proposing the following outline:
1. Early years and family
2. Early political career
2.1 Missouri state representative and senator
2.2 Establishment of the University of Missouri
3. U. S. Representative and the Thirteenth Amendment
4. Later political career
4.1 Father of the University of Missouri
5. University of Missouri Board of Curators President
6. Correspondence with George Caleb Bingham
7. Death
8. References
9. Notes
10. External links
The stub that's there now would be dissolved, and its facts distributed in the political sections. The introduction would read something like this: James Sidney Rollins (April 19, 1812 – January 9, 1888) was a nineteenth century politician and lawyer from Missouri. He was known as “Father of the University of Missouri,” and also played a role in Congress’s passage of the Thirteenth Amendment abolishing slavery.
