English spelling standardisation

It became obvious today that spelling Malestan as Malistan as another Afghan district needs to become standardised for wikipedia. I'm leaving this for those linguists or specialists who are in a far better position to discuss and resolve.-- Matthew ( talk) 17:02, 18 March 2014 (UTC) reply

Can anyone please correct the year when the population was estimated? It should not be separated by every three digits like big numbers.
