This footnote caller caught my eye:
he gasped a warning to Martin Clemens[3]:209–210 and Lieutenant Colonel Edwin A. Pollock,
The ':209-210' looks out of place. Perhaps it's the page numbers in the reference cited? 2001:569:FB6B:4100:9C25:8637:B977:377A ( talk) 22:06, 9 December 2016 (UTC)
?? Was he a Marine? Then he wasn't an MD. If he was a MD, he was Navy. The Marines don't have their own doctors; they use Navy doctors. Perhaps he was Army, but the Army wasn't on Guadalcanal. Something is off with this. WhoAmIYouDoNotKnow ( talk) 01:11, 21 August 2022 (UTC)
