How can this person be labeled as both alt-right and alt-lite? These are different ideologies (even opposing to an extent) that don’t go hand in hand.

In theory, if there were equal sources on both sides we could say he was described both ways. But reviewing the sources that doesn't seem to be the case - there's a ton of sourcing for alt-right, and only one source, the ADL, actually says he is alt-lite specifically (the other one had him in a list that lumps alt-right and alt-lite together and didn't specify which he is.) The ADL is an alright source, but not sufficiently strong that we can weigh them equal to so many others by describing him as both in the lead. --

Alt-right descriptor
Almost all of the "Alt right" articles are opinion pieces and not any real affiliation, byt by political pundits. The article accuses him of doing the same thing about politicians but is treated as conspiracy
At least try to pretend these are objective sources and not weird hit pieces used by fact checkers to loosely get their points across. Most of these sources claim he's alt right because they literally just pointed at him and said so. Most of the things that are verifiably said by him are normal right wing talking points.

References 3, 4 and 5 are high quality academic sources and 6 and 7 are high quality news sources. These are not opinion pieces.

Plus, Pizzagate is not normal. It is deranged.

I tend to doubt Reagan, the Bushes or even Barry Goldwater would consider what Posobiec says to be "normal right wing talking points," though I am aware fans of Posobiec et al. want to normalize it by gaslighting for lulz.

None of these look like opinion pieces to me; and several are high-quality academic sources indicating that this is the main thing he's notable for. It's also something discussed in the body, so it belongs in the lead. --
