Do we really need to have Professor in the initial mention of his name? Also do we need to mention all of his degrees as part of his name? (Especially his BA and MA given that he has a PhD.) Any thoughts? Cjrother 23:03, 7 March 2006 (UTC)

Professor seems to have been removed now. Any objections to removing BA and MA? Cjrother 18:23, 16 April 2006 (UTC)
This really needs a better list of his books. The article says he's written 60, you have 5. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 174.119.230.46 ( talk) 17:26, 6 December 2011 (UTC)
The result of the move request was: Consensus to move to J. L. Granatstein. The assertion that this is the author's common name across a variety of media has not been effectively refuted. The search results clearly favor the proposal. As noted by 24.77.*, the COMMONNAME policy does not mandate "firstname secondname" form when another one is much more common. Disappointed to see his spouse listed as totally incorrectly. What happened to basic fact-checking here? So strict keeping important women from gaining wiki bios, and still this. (OK rant over). JDHumphreys ( talk) 00:44, 27 February 2024 (UTC)
