This article seems fairly bland compared to other writings about Izzy Asper. In particular I was wondering about the accusations of censorship you hear from different sources:
http://www.bookrags.com/wiki/Izzy_Asper
"Asper would occasionally pen editorials defending the nation in his various papers and was accused by a number of media observers of censoring opinions critical of Zionism or which he deemed sympathetic to the Palestinians."
Something similar is here http://slick.org/deathwatch/mailarchive/msg01142.html
And there's:
http://mediamatters.org/columns/200703010014
"CanWest's recent history is littered with lawsuits, gag orders, and byline strikes, buffered by a steady stream of columnists, reporters, and editors who complain CanWest actively censors its employees who stray from the company's conservative, pro-war, pro-Israel blueprint. "

Why is is it Izzy Asper, rather than his name Israel Asper? Whats wrong with using his real first name for the article title? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.69.37.44 ( talk) 22:35, 2 April 2010 (UTC)
