Can anyone point me to a reliable reference that this is 'also known as the Itchen Valley Navigation'? Obviously I'm not including the many mirrors/copies of this article as reliable. Pterre ( talk) 11:47, 13 August 2009 (UTC)
Sorry I've never heard of it being called the Itchen Valley Navigation, even when I lived in the area (For over 20 years)
Whilst digging around regarding the previous thread I did find this. When I've got more time I'll read in more detail but it looks like a fine starting point (note also the cartography and bibliographic references) to add more to this article as well as supporting many of the articles about the villages along the route and the Itchen Way. I have assessed the article against the criteria for B-class.
The lead just needs expanding a little so that it adequately introduces the subject and summaries the content of the article. With a little more work, I think we could go for a Good Article assessment. Bob1960evens ( talk) 17:51, 29 September 2012 (UTC)
I've added a couple of pictures that I hope add some good EV as well as breaking up the text. I'm not sure about having them all right aligned, and welcome any tweaks to formatting and positioning. Pedro : Chat 10:38, 24 May 2013 (UTC)
