The Wikipedia naming convention is that pages ought to have their common English name rather than the native name. Ciise therefore ought to redirect to Issa (clan) rather than the other way around. Anyone object? Or anyone want to go ahead and do this? - I'm not too confident in the procedure. Gailtb 07:10, 11 April 2007 (UTC)
The explorer Richard Burton provides a different list of the subclans of the Issa, in his book First Footsteps in East Africa. (In some cases, I cannot match his names to those in the article.) His list is:
Burton then divides the Rer Musa (who he says number half the Issa) into:

Greetings, I know that Issa inhabit want so far in the Afar region near the Awash River but Issa live in half Awdal and Shinile zone. The Gadabuursi live in Djibouti city have not see them in Arta or Ali Sabieh. Everysummer they for Borama.
