This article is only one of four pertaining to the IoW railways. I have transferred the map to here since it is more useful in this article than either Island Line, Isle of Wight and Isle of Wight Steam Railway, both of which are modern reincarnations of the island's railways. I have also added station lists - although all are of course closed stations Peter Shearan 15:50, 15 July 2006 (UTC)
I don't believe that the colouring of the map on this page is correct. Red is for lines that are currently open and pink for lines that are closed, but this map shows Ryde to Shanklin in pink, when this line is open (see current status on Island Line Trains, which appears to be correct), and also shows other parts of the network in red which are closed. ..unless I'm mis-understanding the map? That is possible. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 212.84.178.34 ( talk) 13:15, 27 April 2009 (UTC)
There are two sections titled "Ryde and Newport Railway", with much duplication between them. They should be merged. -- Redrose64 🌹 ( talk) 23:50, 27 June 2019 (UTC)
