Regarding what is said under the section "Evocation of spirits" I have the following comments:
Where is the author getting this from? Is there a verse in the Quran or any Hadith to backup these claims? Which Islamic text mention these planets (i.e. Jupiter) and refer to them for such purpose?

I propose merging Superstitions in Muslim societies into Islam and magic. The concept of superstition is in academic discourse closely related to the concept of magic. Accordingly, practises deemed "out of fashion" or "syncretic" are often considered "magical" in contrast to "religious" retroperspective. An accurate depiction of "magical beliefs" is also a history of superstitions. To ensure WP:NPOV and to avoid Synthesis of material, I recommand to merge these two articles.
