call me stupid, but the number of victims listed in the article is 19 and 27; ?????? (either way a disaster)
Hello, I added a correction to the naming of the Ironworkers Memorial Second Narrow Crossing, added history of the accident, created a link to a survivor's account and added dates. Cheers. Skippingrock 14:09, Nov 11, 2004 (UTC)
Thanks Denelson83 for the copy edit. I don't know where all those errors came from. Must have been late. Thanks again. Skippingrock

2009/05/25 Did I miss something here that my addition to the details was removed? I have created a login account to add to the "authenticity." I will be more than happy to submit my photo of the plaque giving reference to the names I quoted. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Malice604 ( talk • contribs) 18:18, 25 May 2009 (UTC)
I was just told by my father that this bridge at one point was also a toll-bridge. He was not sure of the cost or when it was removed, but remembers the toll booths being on the PNE side of the crossing. Can anyone research this topic and include mention about it?-- 24.68.107.170 ( talk) 05:29, 3 January 2012 (UTC)

Ship hits bridge? There is no information regarding the ship that missed the channel in fog and took out a span North of the lift span. The North tower was also tilted. This happened between 1970 and 1983 when I started working in Vancouver. Someone must have some detail of the event? There was a newspaper article in the bridge operators cabin. Mike Mamzur (sp) was the the chief bridgetender at the time. 2604:3D08:7A89:E700:2207:B9B9:64F9:256F ( talk) 21:52, 26 March 2024 (UTC)
