The article states that Remsen founded the ACS and edited the associated journal JACS for 35 years, but there is no mention of this on either ACS.org or on JACS. JACS even has a historical list of editors and Remsen does not appear on it. Other than having two articles in the premier volume of JACS, there doesn't seem to be a editorial role of Remsen.
