There is actually recitative in this opera, it's just very short and récitatif accompagné (not secco, ie. the strings are holding chords).

We aren't an American publication so this emphasis is disproportionate. Can we please add information on performances in other parts of the world? Thank you. -- Klein zach 01:42, 21 November 2009 (UTC) reply
