Does anyone else think there are too many links here? The point of links is to make the article understandable, I'm sure somebody reading an article about the investment theory of party competition will already know what an election is, for instance. Any objections to me going through again on the lines I already tried (see history). RaseaC ( talk) 19:56, 13 September 2009 (UTC)
I don't want to add this, as it seems like OR on my part, to connect it to this article .. but .. it would seem that this theory gets empirical support from Testing Theories of American Politics: Elites, Interest Groups, and Average Citizens (2014) Martin Gilens and Benjamin I. Page Perspectives on Politics pp 564 doi:10.1017/S1537592714001595 67.198.37.16 ( talk) 04:19, 13 November 2018 (UTC)
