P (policia; police) D (de; of) I (investigaciones; investigations) ... yes it't function is similar to the fbi, is an investigative police... we have 2 police institutions PDI (smaller, civil, national), and Carabineros de Chile (preventive, national, uniformed, military instruction like in italy, etc) —Preceding
