Lead

  • " It is a north–south freeway despite its even number, as the Hawai‘i routes of the Interstate system were not numbered according to the mainland standard" — Not mentioned in body.

Route description

  • What is the Waiawa Interchange?
    • The name of the interchange, which should be self explanatory.
  • Strategic in what sense?
    • Added.
  • Are there updated numbers for 2021?
    • They won't be released for a few months, if not longer.

History

  • Can this be broken up into subsections?
    • Done.
  • $29.2 million can take the {{ inflation}} template.
    • Done.
  • Ditto $51 million.
    • Done.
  • H-2 was described as "Hawaii's forgotten freeway" — Who described it that way?
    • Credited to "local newspapers", as both dailies used the term.
  • Can Cabrini Chapel take a red link?
    • Don't think it would be notable on its own.
  • Same for $43 million.
    • Done.

No problem, SounderBruce. Two comments above, but passing now. -- Usernameunique ( talk) 05:38, 19 January 2022 (UTC) reply
By the way, I put this in WP:Good articles/Engineering and technology#Road infrastructure: United States, but if you have a better idea, feel free to move it. -- Usernameunique ( talk) 05:42, 19 January 2022 (UTC) reply
I'll move it to the Western subcategory. It is the first Hawaiian road to get up to GA, so no worries about the confusion. Sounder Bruce 05:46, 19 January 2022 (UTC) reply
