In the introduction, Maison du peuple was faulty linked to the famous building build by Victor Horta, completed only in 1899. The Congress of 1891 was in a former Maison du peuple — rue de Bavière, writes Yvonne Kapp, over Eleonor Marx. Kapp 1976 vol. 2, p. 478. (That rue de Bavière has been since renamed rue de Dinant.)
