There has been an effort to present the Foundation primarily in the context of its ties to Scientology. This is potentially misleading. An in-depth look at the recent activities and materials of the organization confirm that it does not promote Scientology doctrine [1]. It is factually staffed primarily by Scientologists, but its board and collaborators include numerous non-Scientologists. In the interests of presenting an accurate description of the Foundation, tangential references to Scientology should be refrained from. Any trace of "slant" is not condoned by Wikipedia guidelines.
