I am against the proposed merge of articles suggested it would cause a loss of information in many cases and an overloading of the main page. Notably a similar set of proposals was made by an anonymous user to disrupt the Portsmouth page and those of its schools information is here and also here -- Drappel 21:35, 8 April 2007 (UTC)

I don't have much recorded evidence for this, but anecdotally, Bevois Valley is just a road and an industrial park; there's little else there besides residences and pubs.
Perhaps the article should be renamed [Bevois], [Bevois, Southamtpon] or [Bevois (suburb)], and its scope widened to cover the districts of Bevois Mount, Bevois Valley and Bevois Town: the three Bevois 'suburbs'. They'd be considerably more content worth including then: Bevois Mount includes Lodge Road, several places of worship, a school and noteworthy pubs and shops; and Bevois Town is an uninteresting but picturesque (in places) area of terraced houses, which includes the Bevois Town and Bevois Castle pubs.
Again, no evidence here, but I would imagine there is/was some sort of 'Bevois Parish', which could be a basis for researching a more in depth article. For these names and locations, search for 'SU 4250 1345' here. smiler ( talk) 15:41, 10 May 2010 (UTC)
"Inner Avenue" isn't a true settlement in its own right and isn't notable. It's just a term estate agents use to avoid using "Bevois Valley" or "Bevois Town" as they think it sounds more appealing. Waggers TALK 10:50, 22 December 2015 (UTC)
