I added a recent article that attributed the name of the town to a Samual David Inman. I can't find a secondary source to confirm that. It appears that comes from the book The Early History of Inman South Carolina written by Jimmie Lou Bishop Brown [1] I have also seen notes that the town was named after John H. Inman. His brother Samuel M. Inman was a famous citizen in Atlanta around the same time as well. I'm going to leave this piece out for now since I can't find anything more definitive. If anyone finds something I would love to see it. Nemov ( talk) 14:53, 29 October 2023 (UTC)
