Aerith is an ingenue? She was actually a lot more bold and competant than her job as a flower girl implies, was never taken in by a vilain she belived to be a hero, and was in a great deal of physical danger but not much mental danger. I cannot think of any cads or rakes in that game off the top of my head (Don Corneo comes close, but Aerith held her own against him as well as Tifa and Cloud), certainly none that took advantage of Aerith. I am removing her from the list, as she does not seem to fit the stated definition. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.110.210.122 ( talk • contribs) 21:59, 9 June 2006
Can we have a pronounciation for this word? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 220.233.88.228 ( talk • contribs) 09:27, 18 May 2007
I think we need to revisit physical danger. In media the ingenue is sometimes the subject of kidnapping/abduction, rape and even murder. Even Snow White was murdered in some versions of the story. Sage Sophia ( talk) 06:34, 13 August 2008 (UTC)
Is it ingénue or ingenue? TuckerResearch ( talk) 03:34, 21 August 2010 (UTC)
My word processor corrects it to include the accent. 81.178.131.96 ( talk) 00:01, 15 November 2010 (UTC)
