Was this section removed without discussion? It seemed reasonably well written and sourced. While it might have a 'negative material' issue but seemed relatively balanced so I would expect discussion before removal. Thoughts anyone? - Acq3 06:16, 31 August 2007 (UTC)
"India outsources CEO position" Is that a headline or WHAT?!

Looks like for 2006 it was $9,377,119. Plus $184,503 and $209,333 for earlier performance awards. This doesn't include benefits but does include the change in value of a $3.2M in a pension fund. Looks like the salary info in the entry is a bit... wrong. http://yahoo.brand.edgar-online.com/fetchFilingFrameset.aspx?FilingID=5057099&Type=HTML —Preceding unsigned comment added by Gront ( talk • contribs) 05:56, 27 February 2008 (UTC)
This article says
PepsiCo, the world's fourth-largest food and beverage company.
But the Kraft Foods page says
Kraft Foods Inc. (NYSE: KFT) is .. the third largest food and beverage company in the world (after Nestlé SA and PepsiCo).
So is PepsiCo number two or number four? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.191.62.140 ( talk) 16:09, 2 June 2008 (UTC)
Regarding Pepsico's size in terms of market capitalization, #1 is Nestle (122B), #2 is Pepsi (73B), and Kraft is #3 (32B). Coke is ahead of Pepsi, but they just sell drinks. The market cap values are as of 3/10/09. If you measure size in terms of food sales, Kraft and Unilever sell more food, so Pepsi is #4. Looks like children's names are fictional. "Liar" and "Scam" are derogatory terms, and I can't imagine a parent giving those names. I did a google search and came up with one web site that referenced them as Preetha and Tara. Their names should be verified or removed if they cannot be verified. Yesterday I reverted some unsourced material on BLP grounds; I was not alone, and for now those additions remain off the page. The article still has many unsourced details -- I intend to find sources where I can, remove what is incorrect, and perhaps even add relevant information that is not presently included. I should also disclose that I have a potential conflict of interest as my employer does business with PepsiCo, and they are aware of the dismal state of this article. The upside is that I should be able to get pointers on finding reliable sources from them. And, as always, feel free to ask about my contributions here or on my own talk page. NMS Bill ( talk) 20:20, 8 July 2009 (UTC)
I think Indra Nooyi worked with Booz & Co and not BCG as stated in this article. She is mentioned as an ex Booz employee on their website
I made a minor edit here, primarily consisting of adding a reliable source-- and wanted to note that I have a potential conflict of interest, as PepsiCo is a client of my employer. I am aware of (and respect) Wikipedia's content and conduct policies, and won't be making any substantive changes to this article directly without first reaching consensus here on the Talk page.
With that said, the Popular culture and shows section appears to consist entirely of fancruft/trivia. While factually accurate, it is probably more appropriate for this content to be included within one of the Gossip Girl Wikipedia articles, as it is merely a passing reference in relation to the biography of Indra Nooyi.
The contents of this section do not meet the qualifications outlined in the WP:POPCULTURE essay. While this is an essay (and not a guideline/policy), it indicates that the existing "Popular Culture and shows" section should be removed from this article. Would others agree? Indra Nooyi has written a memoir called My Life in Full: Work, Family and Our Future which should be included in her article.
The description seems to be inaccurate ( WP:POV), else as a Tamil Brahmin she would have stayed in India and maintained her Varna status: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kala_pani_(taboo) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 1.39.31.2 ( talk) 11:36, 9 June 2022 (UTC)
The article is almost glowing in its account of the PepsiCo tenure, but Nooyi's successor has reoriented the company. I've added a news account about it, but I'm sure there are other perspectives we can add to the article to make it more NPOV. 68.174.155.22 ( talk) 01:51, 1 May 2023 (UTC)
