Someone needs to expand this article...—Preceding unsigned comment added by Arunforce ( talk • contribs)
Is there any reason this article's content doesn't match it's title? Why are we talking about Indian artists in the West, when the subject is Indian Pop, and NOT "Artists of Indian descent". I am going to start cleaning this article up starting tomorrow. Sfacets 10:10, 15 November 2006 (UTC)
According to my sources, Indian techno/fusion began with Monsoon (featuring Sheila Chandra) in 1981 and the formation of Indipop Records by the band's producer, Steve Coe, shortly afterward. Sources are hard to find, one is here. - Stillwaterising ( talk) 00:35, 13 February 2010 (UTC)
I am a native speaker of Hindi, and I am yet to read a single written or spoken Hindi refrenece to "Indian Pop music" as "हिन्दुस्तानी पॉप मोसीक़ी", as the article claims. For all I know, "मोसीक़ी" isn't even a Hindi word. A more accurate translation would be "हिन्दुस्तानी पॉप संगीत". I am changing ot on this account. Please post here if there are reasons not ot do so. Thanks. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.41.123.44 ( talk) 06:56, 31 October 2010 (UTC)
