This page is currently under construction as part of a UNC Chapel Hill American Studies Course effort to enhance information sources on wikipedia regarding the history and legal status of American Indians. I do have sources for this information, it should be up shortly, and I will continue to expand this page, and plan to also create a page for the Indian Civil Rights Act.
