– Current title seems to meet the
WP:QUALIFIER to be disambiguated, I nearly confused this article as a duplicate of
Indian Idol (Hindi TV series) until I took a closer look. The second article also seems to be the
primary topic based off of Google search results ranking and the pageviews of said article (
34,698 as compared to
12,811 for this article). I'm open to any other suggestions.

Is there any SIGCOV of the whole franchise as a whole? Disambiguation could probably be handled as a hatnote to the Marathi and Telugu versions.

@
Deauthorized,
Crouch, Swale, and
Sammi Brie: any further thoughts on how this should be handled? Would anyone oppose me closing this as moved and then immediately BLARing the franchise article (until sources can be found to improve the article)? Of course discussions like that aren't usually in the scope of RM but it would probably make more sense to get a clearer idea here since it doesn't appear there are other editors interested in this.

Oppose - not clear why the Hindi-language version should be seen as the primary topic for this... having the franchise as the broad-concept / overarching page above the individual language versions seems sensible. —
