The final scene, where Ned is trapped in the zoo and Rev Lovejoy rescues him.... I have NEVER seen that! And I've watched the episode dozens of times!! Bloody Australian TV, always trimming episodes to fit more bloody ads in... :( -- Jquarry 03:07, 18 May 2006 (UTC)
A few minutes in to the episode, Marge says "Nobody is watching us right now!" I think it's breaking the 4th wall, but their reaction is disambigous. Whadda you think?
During the Mr. Sparkle commercial if you closely I think there's a Thunderbirds (TV series) reference. If you look closely in the shot in the playroom, does anyone notice the Thunderbird 2 on the floor in the background? -- Mr. Sinistar 14:42, 23 May 2006 (UTC)
During the opening scene in the church, Lovejoy mentions a passage from the book of Ezekiel. The shot cuts back to the congregation to see Lenny and Carl both dressed to appear as Vincent and Jules from the movie Pulp Fiction. The book of Ezekiel of course is where Jules hitman rant comes from. Perhaps this should be put into cultural references, or trivia? Sion Bonett
I passed this article for GA after a thorough copyedit. Again, the Simpsons articles that are up for GA are great, except for the fact that they are often chock-full of iffy writing and/or GPS errors. Strongly suggest copyediting thoroughly before sending them to GA. Chubbles 06:55, 8 May 2007 (UTC)
