I wonder, is there really a reliable source for the claim that a part of the West Bank is called "Samaria"? To me, it appears to be Israel-specific (and thus POV) terminology. I suggest simply "The northern part of the West Bank". MeteorMaker ( talk) 10:11, 17 February 2009 (UTC)

Some references are to Haaretz and The Sydney Morning Herald which have pay walls or access to a limited number of articles before subscription is required. It would be better if alternative sources were substituted. Some articles from the SMH have been republished on other sites. Mcljlm ( talk) 05:20, 29 September 2021 (UTC)
