I was wondering if the wording in her introductory paragraph should be changed. On most articles where the actor is a first-generation citizen of a country it would usually say "[Birth Nationality]-born [Current Nationality] [profession.]" So I was wondering would it be better to change the wording to "Iman Vellani is a Pakistani-born Canadian actress"? Similarly, neither previous nationalities nor the country of birth should be mentioned in the lead unless relevant to the subject's notability.
Context (location, nationality, etc.) for the activities that made the person notable.. In this case, Vellani's page should just state "Canadian". She's lived in the country since she was one years old, was educated there, and first gained notability as a Canadian. Her primary residence isn't in Pakistan, she hasn't worked in said country and so on. Clear Looking Glass ( talk) 06:29, 13 June 2023 (UTC)

Some sources say that her date of birth is August 12, others say it is September 3. The source listed in the article is a link to a short film she made that doesn't appear to have anything to do with her date of birth. Thebiguglyalien ( talk) 23:57, 27 November 2022 (UTC)
@ Thebiguglyalien, the timestamp is mentioned (0:15) wherein a wristband accessory she's wearing with her date of birth on it is visible. Unfortunately, it's a primary and probably the only reliable source that states her date of birth to be August 12; otherwise various media outlets and websites state her d/o/b incorrectly, as September 3.
