I would encourage you return and build the article by paraphrasing the copyrighted material rather than directly copying it. -

Since I work for the school and was asked to upload this content - is it a copyright issue(which I don't believe there is) or an issue of the material being "advertising" material?— Preceding

Regarding "copyright": If you were asked by the school to upload the content, then that may be a different story. Check with
Wikipedia:Copyrights, particularly
Using copyrighted work from others section for clarification. Regarding "advertising": Keep in mind that this is an encyclopedia. Comments such as "We don’t stand back and watch progress happen - we make it happen!" and "We know that all work and no play will make you a stressed optometry student!" are certainly non-encyclopedic and may violate
WP:NPOV. As you have demonstrated, there is a lot of content that could be added to make this a good article. -
