Sorry for the delay, so here are some early observations :
- Do we have any sort of information on how the song was received? By the critics or the audience? Anyone at all?
- Do we have any notable cover versions worth mentioning?
- Any sort of information available on the music structure or the background of the lyrics maybe?
The lead could include a sentence or two on the reception of the track (with a separate "Reception" section in the body of course), and can be split into two paragraphs then. Numerounovedant Talk 10:37, 19 January 2017 (UTC)

- @ Numerounovedant: Thank you for your concerns. I'll answer them in chronological order. Due to the single's limited release, "If I Close My Eyes" just wasn't really received by critics. From experience, it has always been hard to find significant (and trustworthy, reliable) reviews of a song from this long ago (especially if the song wasn't hugely popular), but I do believe notability has been established as "If I Close My Eyes" was the theme song to a successful film and (this doesn't always help) was released in the physical format.
