The story in the GQ Magazine article lays out a convincing reason to keep the page up, for me at least. The story (both the initial and the corrected versions) has gathered
quite a bit of media attention from well-known mainstream media sources, not all of which are referenced in the article currently. It is a noteworthy example of
information warfare in action during the
Syrian Civil War.
