Does anybody object if I change "president" for "lehendakari"?, If anybody finds this as a mistake please change it back and explain in this thread your reason, thanks.
I have added president in parenthesis.
I am not a fan of secession by el País Vasco, Cataluña or anywhere else in Spain, but I suspect that secession, voluntary or not, would still allow the new country to keep the Euro as its currency, as states outside the EU have adopted the Euro. I would say that the economic freefall after the secession might make using the Euro difficult, but countries can use any currency that they wish for transactions. -- Wee Jimmy 17:18, 23 May 2007 (UTC)
This article should be edited by someone who is a native (or fluent) English speaker. Also, Can someone put in more details as to the exact nature of the plan?
The article does not say what the Ibarretxe plan involves. Is it greater autonomy within Spain or outright secession?-- 82.41.34.186 ( talk) 20:43, 14 January 2008 (UTC)
I am trying to put in a reference for the amended text and will do so ASAP. Martin. -- 82.41.34.186 ( talk) 13:42, 15 January 2008 (UTC)
